What a website costs in India

For a business website the honest range is ₹49,999 to about ₹1,50,000, and most of our clients land around ₹79,000. A site that tells people who you are, ranks for your own name and city, and lets someone reach you starts at ₹49,999. One that takes bookings, admissions or payments, or that you can edit yourself, starts at ₹79,000. Apps and custom software are priced one at a time, because what they have to do decides the number. You get a written figure after one call, and it holds for the work you agreed — no meter running, no invoice at the end that nobody warned you about.

Because "a website" describes both a five-page site and a booking system, and the same word gets quoted for both. A ₹15,000 quote is usually a template with your logo dropped in, no content written and nobody answering the phone afterwards. A ₹5 lakh quote is usually a large team billing for their size. In between, the real drivers are the number of pages, how much of the design is drawn fresh, whether the site has to do something — take a payment, hold a booking, manage stock — and whether anyone is writing the words. Ask any agency which of those four their number includes, and the differences stop being mysterious.

A straightforward business website takes about two weeks. A bigger one with bookings, a blog or pages you can edit yourself takes about four. Custom software depends entirely on what it has to do. In practice the clock is set by how quickly photos, text and details reach us from your side — that is almost always the slow part, not the building. If you know your content will take time to gather, say so on the first call and we will plan the schedule around it instead of chasing you later.

You tell us, and we change it. We design every page and show it to you before anything is built, precisely so this is a five-minute conversation rather than an expensive one. Nothing gets built until you have approved how it looks, which means you are never in the position of seeing your finished website for the first time and quietly wishing it were different.

On the Premium package, yes. The pages you are most likely to want to change — prices, timings, notices, new staff, new courses — are set up so you can edit them yourself without touching code or waiting on us. On Growth the pages are fixed, and small edits are quick for us to do. If you would rather never touch it at all, the monthly care plan covers changes as part of the fee.

You do, completely. The code, the hosting and domain logins, and the documentation are all handed over at the end, in your name. We keep nothing back to tie you to us. This matters more than it sounds: the most common reason businesses come to us is that their previous developer holds the domain or the logins and has stopped replying. You will never be in that position with us.

Two, and both are yours to control. A domain name is roughly ₹800 to ₹1,500 a year, and hosting for a business site is usually ₹3,000 to ₹8,000 a year depending on traffic — you pay those directly to the provider, in your own account, not to us. Beyond that, nothing is compulsory. The monthly care plan and the search work are optional and can be stopped whenever you like.

A conversation first — what the business does, who you want to reach, and what is not working now. After that the practical things: your logo if you have one, photos, and the details only you know, like course lists, doctor timings or product information. If you do not have photos or written content yet, say so early. It is a normal situation and we will plan around it rather than let the project stall in week two.

Most projects run in three parts: 40% to begin, 40% when you approve the middle stage, and 20% when the site goes live. Monthly work is billed at the start of each month. Because it is split into stages, you are never handing over everything on day one, and you can stop at a review point if the project turns out not to be what you wanted.

That is the normal starting point, not a problem. Most people arrive knowing something is wrong rather than knowing what to build. Describe the business and what you are trying to fix, and we will tell you what would help — including the times when the honest answer is that a smaller job, or no job at all right now, is the better use of your money.

Costs outside India work differently once currency and support hours come into it, so we price those projects one at a time instead of converting the rupee figures on this page.
